Q3. Ali was a horse carriage driver and a former crack short shikari. But he gave up hunting ever since he realized the pain of separation when his own daughter left him after marriage five years ago.
Q4. The turning point in this story is when the letter from Mariam, coachman Ali's daughter's letter arrives in the post office. This led to the postmaster eventually discovering about the sad death of Ali who had died with a broken heart as he could not receive his daughter's letter.
When the postmaster's daughter fell ill and he got no response from her which made him worried, he realized the pain Ali went through every single day when he waited for the letter of his daughter.
Q5. Postmaster was very rude and stone hearted person. He was always very arrogant . He shows his aggression by calling Ali as 'pest'.
