Mary Lennox
She is the main character and brings about change to the Craven family during the timeline of the novel. The Secret Garden is a children's novel was written by Frances Hodgson, published in 1911. Mary Lennox is the most important character in The Secret Garden was born in India. Author introduced her as an ugly, rude, sick, unloving girl who was keep ignored by her parents. Servants who looked after Mary, helped her to become a spoiled child.
When Mary's parents and servants was killed by Cholera she left alone in house. Then she was sent to England to her uncle Archibald Craven. There she found a secret garden. She disclosed the garden, helped to recover her cousin Colin and brought happiness in all's life.
