Political competition is not only seen amongst political parties for competition to gain political power at the time of election, but in terms of their use of this inherent competition amongst them,to shape and control the content and direction of public policy, not only within their partystructure but also development of the capacity to influence or determine official governmentaldecision making structures and to cause action on questions of public policy.
