Step-by-step explanation:

2x - 1 x - 2

———— + 1 = ———— + 2

3. 3

( 2x - 1 ) + 3 ( x - 2 ) + 6

——————— = ———————

3. 3

( 2x - 1 ) + 3 = ( x - 2 ) + 6

( 2x - 1 ) - ( x - 2 ) = 6 - 3

( 2x - 1 ) + ( - x + 2 ) = 3

x + 1 = 3

x = 3 - 1

x = 2

\large\green{\sf\bold{Solution}}

 \frac{2x - 1}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{x - 2}{3}  + 2

 \frac{2x - 1 + 3}{3}  =  \frac{x - 2  +  6}{ 3}

 \frac{2x + 2}{3}  = \frac{x - 4}{3}

By the method of cross multiplication

3(2x + 2) = 3(x  + 4)

6x + 6 = 3x  + 12

6x - 3x =  12 - 6

3x =  6

x =  \frac{ 6}{3}

x =  2

{\sf\bold{Verification}}

Putting x in the equations.

 \frac{2x - 1}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{x - 2}{3}  + 2

 \frac{2 \times 2 - 1}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{2 - 2}{3}  + 2

 \frac{4 - 1}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{0}{3}  + 2

 \frac{3}{3}  + 1 =  0 + 2

1 + 1  = 0 + 2

2 = 2
