We first find Discriminant (D)
D = b² - 4ac
D = 8²- 4(3)(-1)
D = 64+12
D = 76
x = -(8) ± √76/2(3)
x = -8 ± 2√19/2(3)
x = 2(-4 ± √19)/2(3)
x = -4+√19/3. and x= -4-√19/3
Therefore above equation has no integral (in the form of simple numbers like, 2,3,50,32 etc) roots.
