impulse = force × time

i = 50 × 4 = 200 N Second

acceleration = force / mass

a = 50/(5)

a = 50 / 5 = 1 0 m/ sec²

option (b is correct)

hope it is helpful for you

Answer:

Impulse = 200 N, Acceleration = 10 m/sec²

Explanation:

Given,

Mass = 5 kg, Time = 4 sec, Force = 50 N

We know that,

F = m * a

=> 50 = 5 * a

=> a = 10 m/sec²

Now,

We know that :

v = u + at

  = 0 + 10 * 4

  = 40 m/s

Also,

We know that Impulse = Change in momentum

Impulse = m(v - u)

             = 5(40 - 0)

             = 200 N

Therefore,

Impulse = 200 N

Acceleration = 10 m/sec²

Hope it helps!
