Ans:- (a) When we connect two resistors in series and one resistor in parallel connection each of having resistance of 6ohm to get equivalent resistance be:-

Req=R1+R2[for series connections]

Req=(6+6)ohm=12ohm

Now,for parallel connection we have:-

1/Req=1/R1+1/R2

1/6+(Req of parrellel connection)

1/6+1/12=3/12=1/4

therefore,Req=4

• so,we find the required equivalent resistance for this circuit.
