Answer:

p (x) => ax-b=0

=> x=b/a

=> x=b÷a

zero of the polynomial p(x)= ax-b is (b÷a) b/a.

Verify:

p (x) => ax-b

p (b/a) => a×b/a -b

=> b-b (a gets divided)

=> 0 (b gets cancelled)

Hope this will help....

Answer:

to find zeroes,

p( x) = 0

=> ax - b = 0

=> ax = b

=> x = -b/a

so, the zero is -b/a.
