Area of a triangle =   \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h \\

Let,

Height of one triangle = h1 and base = b1

Height of second triangle = h2 and base = b2

Therefore,

Area of one triangle:Area of second traingle= 2:3

1/2×b1×h1 : 1/2×b2×h2 = 2:3

Since h1=h2

b1 : b2 = 2:3

Given b1 = 6 cm

6 cm : b2 = 2:3

b2 × 2 = 6 cm×3

b2 = 18 cm/2

b2= 9 cm

Base of bigger triangle = 9 cm
