1) in the muscle cell of animal and anerobic respiration take place through which lactic acid is formed as a result

2) cramps are basically found in the legs of athletes because at time of Huge running they want excess amount of combustion for that they need more of the oxygen but at absence of Oxygen and aerobic respiration takes place by which lactic acid is formed as and by product which makes cramps with other by products of anaerobic respiration.

3) THE FOLLOWING equation can show :-

C6 H12 O6 --------- 2lactic acid + 2ATP

In the muscle cells of animals, aerobic respiration is carried out at most times. But during rigorous exercise, oxygen supply by blood is insufficient, hence anaerobic respiration. This is also the reason behind cramps as during anaerobic respiration lactic acid gets accumulated in muscles.

In presence of oxygen

C6H12O6 + 6O2 ---> 6CO2 + 6H20

In absence of oxygen

C6H12O6---> 6CO2 + 6H20 + LACTIC ACID
