yes, physical and chemical change can take place together.. for example take a reversible lead battery
when the battery is charged the electric energy get stored in. the battery in the form of chemical energy, further when we use the battery a chemical reaction takes place and the energy stored in it get converted into electric energy which reversible and thus show a physical change..
so both chemical and physical change can take place together..
