Free time? What’s that!? Joking aside, I do have some free time despite a busy work week. Virtually all of my free time is given to my wife and two young boys. Answer:
Traveling, my favourite pastime
My favourite pastime is traveling. This requires spending time and money. But it is worth it all when you realize just how rewarding and incredible traveling can really be. Here are some reasons why I love traveling.
It breaks the monotonous routine of doing the same thing every day like a mechanical robot. Venturing out is fun, exciting and rewarding.
Going out on trips we learn the culture of different people. It is an adventure of exploring new places.
Nature around us is beautiful but we rarely notice it. By traveling we can see and appreciate nature.
Traveling is like an
escape in order to see ourselves and our lives more clearly and evaluate how to make them better.
When traveling, we come in contact with different people who teach us things we never knew or imagined before.
We live in a time where we are chained to technology and living in a virtual world of internet, television, computers and phones. Traveling make us experience what really is happening around the world. We learn more things about other people, other races, other tribes and other nations. This makes us more broad minded and we become a global citizen.
