i) the molecules are not rigidly arranged, allowing it to shift its shape and take the sahpe of the container while maintaining its volume.
ii) water at 0°C takes heat from the mouth as heat travels from hotter to colder object and increases temperature rapidly. ice also gains heat but it takes much more heat than water as it requires latent heat of melting in order to melt into water thus it remains cold for longer than water and also absorbs more heat. thus ice feels colder than water at 0°C.
