1. secondary storage devices are the devices in which computer's data can be stored and computer can still work if they are removed.
their main work is to transfer data between the computers.
ex. cd, pendrive
2. byte, kilo byte, mega byte, tera byte
3. primary memory is volatile and is cleaned after the computer is switched off but secondary memory is non volatile and it is not erased after the computer is turned off.
ram and ROM are primary memory and cd is an example of secondary memory.
4.Computer memory is any physical device capable of storing information temporarily or permanently. For example, Random Access Memory (RAM), is a volatile memory that stores information on an integrated circuit used by the operating system, software, and hardware.
5. a. A bit (short for binary digit) is the smallest unit of data in a computer. A bit has a single binary value, either 0 or 1.
b.computers usually provide instructions that can test and manipulate bits, they generally are designed to store data and execute instructions in bit multiples called bytes.
1 byte = 8 bits
