Answer:

let the points be A (x,y) B (7,1) C (3,5)

according to question A is equidistant from B and C

so, AB= AC

.

.

Finding AB

x1=x and y1=y

x2= 7 and y2 1

AB=underroot[(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2]

=underroot[(7-x)^2+(1-y)^2]

..

Now AC,

x1=x, y1=y

x2=3, y2=5.

AC=underroot[(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2]

=underroot [(3-x)^2 +(5-y)^2]

.

.

we kn that AB=AC..

So,

underroot [(7-x)^2+(1-y)^2]=underroot [(3-x)^2+(5-y)^2]

(cancelling underroot)

we get,,

(7-x)^2+(1-y)^2=(3-x)^2+(5-y)^2

(by simplify we get )

X=y+2

(AND NOW WE ARE NOT FURTHER SOLVING BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE TO GIVE THE RELATION OF X AND Y)

so,

That is answer: X=y+2.

Plz mark as brainiest.
