1) Angular frequency of piston
w=200rad/min.
stroke=1m
amplitude=1/2=0.5
the maximum speed of piston is-
Vmax=Aw= 200*0.5
100m/min.
2) acceleration due to gravity on the surface of moon g'=1.7
acceleration due to gravity on the surface of earth g=9.8
time period of a simple pendulum on earth T=3.5s
T=2π√l/g
where l is the length of the pendulum
l=T^/2π^*g
(3.5)^/4*(3.14)^ *9.8
the lenght of pendulum remains constant
then on moon surface time period
T'=2π√l/g'
=2π(3.5)^/4*(3.14)^* 9.8/1.7
after solving this =8.4s
the time period of the simple pendulum on the surface of moon is 8.4s
