Given :

\sf\star{the \: sum \: two \: numbers =81}

\sf\star{ if \: one \: number \: =\: \dfrac{4}{5}}

\star\sf{ To \: find \to \: other \: numbers }

Answer :

➯ Let the other number be

So the sum of two numbers =81

According to the given conditions:

 \implies \sf \: x + y = 81 \:  \: ...(given)...(1)

  \\ \implies \sf \: \:  x =  \frac{4}{5}y \:   ....(given)...(2)

Put equation (2) in equation (1) we get,

 \implies \sf \: x + y = 81

 \\  \implies \sf \:  \frac{4}{5} y +  y = 81

 \\  \implies \sf \: 4y + 5y = 5 \times 81

 \\  \implies \sf \: 9y = 5 \times 81

 \\  \implies \sf \:  \cancel9y = 5 \times  \cancel{81}9

 \\  \implies \sf \: y = 5 \times 9

 \implies \therefore \boxed{ \sf{ \: y = 45}} \: ...(3)

Put equation (3) in equation (1) to get x value :

 \\  \implies \sf \: x + y = 81

 \\  \implies \sf \: x + 45 = 81

 \\  \implies \sf \: x = 81 - 45

 \implies \therefore \boxed{ \sf \: x = 36}

➡ the other number will be (x, y) =(45,36)
