The larger circle's 5/12= The smaller circle's 3/4
So, the larger circle's area/ the smaller circle's area = 3/4×5/12 = 5/16
So, the ratio is 5/16..

CoolixirPratt: No, the correct answer that I checked from the answer key is 5/9. Well, you gave a good try!
Sattwik7: what's the wrong in my answer.
Sattwik7: I want to know.
CoolixirPratt: See... 5/12 of the big circle, and 3/4 of the small circle. Then the LCM of 12 and 4 is 12. So 5/12 × 12 = 5 and 3/4 × 12=9. Therefore, 5:9 is the ratio.
CoolixirPratt: Is my explanation clear?
Sattwik7: I was wrong their will be larger circle's area =3/4×12/5 of the smaller circle's area. So ratio will be 5/9.
CoolixirPratt: Yeah! That is the advantage of Brainly where all the students across the country...or even the whole WORLD, can clear all their doubts with the help of other students!
Sattwik7: Your thinking level is very high.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CoolixirPratt: Thnx
