Let the length of th carpet be l m

Breadth of the carpet = 60 cm = 60/100 = 0.6 m (Since 1m = 100 cm)

Length of the floor of a room = 18m

Breadth of the floor of a room = 15m

Area of the carpet = Area of the floor of a room

Length * Breadth = Length * Breadth

l * 0.6 = 18 * 15

l * 0.6 = 270

l = 270/0.6

l = 450

So Length of the carpet required to cover the floor is (4)450m.
