see simple h g ..it saying that when .. ..
actually see the equation at torque = nbiacosQ= nI(B.A) . now see the angle is between direction of B and direction of A. . now ... if they are perpendicular. .means that angle between them is 90 then cos90 = o .. if there parallel then q= o so . torque will be higher..
