Answer:

3ay-2bx=-5xy......(1)

ay+3bx=2xy.........(2)

multiply eq.(2) by 3

3ay+9bx=6xy.....(3)

subtract eq. (1) and (3)

-11bx=-11xy

thus y=b and substitute this value of y in any equation you get

x=-1

Answer:

x = (-a) and y = b

Step-by-step explanation:

our given problem is:-

(3a/x) - (2b/y) = (-5)..... equ(1)

.

.

taking L. C. M. (xy)

.

3ay - 2bx = (-5xy)..... equ(2)

.

simillarly

.

(a/x) + (3b/y) = 2.... equ (3)

.

.

taking L. C. M. (xy)

.

ay + 3bx = 2xy.... equ (4)

.

now equ. (4) is multiply by 3 ; where 3 is a constant number.

.

3ay + 9bx = 6xy..... equ (5)

.

now equ (5) - equ (2)

.

3ay + 9bx - 3ay + 2bx = 6xy + 5xy

11bx = 11xy

b = y

Or

y = b

.

.

now put the value of y in equ (4)

.

.

ay + 3bx = 2xy

ab + 3bx = 2xb

3bx - 2bx = (-ab)

bx = (-ab)

x = (-a)
