Ans : bryophyte are informal group consisting of three divisions of non-vascular land plants : the live Worth's , hornwords and mosses . they are characteristically limited in size and prefer moist habitually although they can survive in drier environment. they consist of about 20000 plant species.

pteridophytes is a vascular plant that disperses spores because pteridophytes produce neither flower nor seeds. they are sometimes referred to as cryptogames.

ferns , horsetails , and lycophytes all are pteridophytes.
