a metallic surface is irritated by a monochromatic light of frequency V1 and stopping potential is found to be even if the light of frequency V to irradiated what will be the surface the stopping potential ??

since , eVo = h(v-Vo)

therefore ,eV1= hv1 - hVo

= hVo = hv1 - eV1

also, eV2 = hV2 - hVo

= hv2- hv1 + eV1

or V2 = V1 + h/e (v2 - v1)
