C + O2 ---> CO2

3 g + 8 g ---> 11 g

Here mass of rectants = mass of products

So law of conservation of mass is used.

Now here , Carbon and oxygen combine in the ratio 3:8.

So when 3 g of Carbon is burnt in 50 g of oxygen,only 8 g of oxygen will react. So same, 11 g of Carbon dioxide will be produced

Here, the law of constant proportions is used to get the answer.
