1)The molecules are continually colliding with each other and with the walls of the container. When a molecule collides with the wall, they exert small force on the wall The pressure exerted by the gas is due to the sum of all these collision forces.The more particles that hit the walls, the higher the pressure.

2At room temperature (anywhere from zero degree centigrade to 100 degrees centigrade), water is found in a liquid state. This is because of the tiny, weak hydrogen bonds which, in their billions, hold water molecules together for small fractions of a second. Water molecules are constantly on the move.

A)The Particles in gases are loosely packed and have high kinetic energy and due to this they move with a high speed in random direction due to this random motion of the particle they hit the walls of the container an
thus, exert pressure.

B)It is because the freezing point of the water is  less than the room temperature and also the boiling point of the water is very above the room temperature. This makes the water to exist in the liquid state.
