Answer:

A bulb will glow when a voltage is applied athwart the bulb. The greater the voltage the maximum the current and the brighter the bulb will glow.Now if electric heater is connected . The voltage across the bulb will be subtracted.

The current through the bulb will be lower because the voltage across the bulb is also minimum. Therefore, the power dissipated in the bulb will be lower and the bulbs will be dimmer( dull)
