While writing a report keep in mind:
1) A report should be brief and precise.
2) Only essential facts should be included.
3) The intoduction must contain in brief answers to 'where,' 'when', 'why', and how of the event.
4) Passive voice is used very often.
5) The date and place is mentioned at beginning of first line.
6) Names or designations of important persons are to be mentioned.
7) Reasons for succes or failure of the occasion or event are to be mentioned.
8) Your personal opinion must not color the report. Only facts should be written.
9) The headline should be not more than 5 words and should be catchy.
