Heya mate ,

here is your answer,
_____________

 \frac{x}{3} + \frac{y}{4} = 11 \: \: \: - - - - (1) \\ \\ \frac{5x}{6} - \frac{y}{3} = - 7 \: \: \: - - - - (2)

Multiply equation (1) by 1/3 and equation (2) by 1/4 and add both equations we get ,

 \frac{x}{9} + \frac{y}{12} = \frac{11}{3 } \\ \frac{5x}{24} - \frac{y}{12} = - \frac{7}{4 } \\ - - - - - - - - \\ \frac{23x}{72} = \frac{23}{12} \\ \\ = > x = 6

Put the value of x in equation (1) we get,

 \frac{6}{3} + \frac{y}{4} = 11 \\ = > \frac{y}{4} = 9 \\ = > y = 36

Hence the value of x = 6 and y = 36
