We know that circumference of a circle = 2pir

We know that Diameter of circle = 2r.

Given that Circumference of a circle exceeds its diameter by 30cm.

2pir = 2r + 30

2pir - 2r = 30

2r(pi - 1) = 30

r(pi - 1) = 30/2

r(pi - 1) = 15

r( \frac{22}{7} - 1) = 15

r( \frac{22 - 7}{7}) = 15

r( \frac{15}{7} ) = 15

15r = 15 * 7

15r = 105

r = 105/15

r = 7cm.

Therefore the radius of the circle = 7cm.

Hope it helps!
