Hey,

here is your answer.

Let momentum of A be  p1 = m1v1

Let momentum of B be p2 = m2v2

The ratio of the momentum of A and B will be :

p1/p2 = m1v1/m2v2 = mv/4mv = 1/4

Ratio = 1 : 4.

Formula of momentum

Momentum = mass × velocity

Momentum of A

Mass = m

Velocity = v

Momentum = m × v

                   = m v

Momentum of B

Mass = 4 m

Velocity = v

Momentum = 4 m × v

                   = 4 m v

Ratio of both momentums

Ratio of Momentum A : Momentum B

          = m v : 4 m v

          = 1 : 4

ANSWER :

The ratio of momentum would be 1 : 4.
