HYBRIDISATION:-
The process of intermixing of atomic orbitals of equal or nearly equal energy to form a set of new orbitals having equivalent energy and shape is known as hybridisation.
The new orbitals which are formed are known as the hybrid orbitals.
There are 5 types of hybridization such as:-
1. sp hybridization
2. sp2 hybridization
3. sp3 hybridization
4. sp3d hybridization
5. sp3d2 hybridization
