\huge→\underline\mathbb\red{AnsWer}{♡}

2(a - 5) - 5 = 3 \\ 2a - 10 - 5 = 3 \\ 2a - 15 = 3 \\ 2a = 3 + 15 \\ 2a = 18 \\ a =  \frac{18}{2}  \\ a = 9

Hence, the correct option is Option A) a=9

Answer:

2(a-5)-5=3

First we need to remove that 5. So add 5.

2(a-5)=8

a-5=4 (divide by 2)

a=9 (add 5)

a)a=9

(u can also use the other method)
