Constitution is a very long and detailed document . Therefore it needa to be amended quite regularly to keep it updated. The constitution described the institutional amendments in a very legal language. The basic institutional design is not very difficult to understand . Like any constitution Indian constitution lays down a procedure for choosing persons to govern the country. It defines who will have how much power to take decisions. And it puts limits to what government can do by providing some rights.

this means that constitution is not all about values. it is about elections and politics. it's about institutional arrangements. the makers of the constitution made this document by taking years to come up with a decision. this is because they need to take care of the majority of people should accept it. when they made it they felt it was not sacred . they made some changes . these changes are called constitutional amendments. it is so difficult to understand the constitution when u read at first . but when u read it again and again it is not difficult to understand. it don't think about its own members it thinks of the whole nation , its rights and acceptance to constitution.
