HERE'S THE ANSWER..

________________________________

♠️ Here rod is cylinder , with dimensions

⏺️ Radius ( r ) = ?

⏺️ Length ( l ) = 140 cm

♠️ A sphere is made from the rod , so the volume of sphere will be equal to volume of rod

⏺️ So volume of rod will be 3388 cm^3

▶️ We know

=> \texttt{ Volume\:= \: pie r^{2} h }

=> \texttt{ 3388\:= \:(22/7)(140)r^{2} }

=> \texttt{ 3388\:= \:(22)(20)r^{2} }

=> \texttt{ 3388\:= \:( 440)r^{2} }

=> \texttt{ 3388/440\:= \:r^{2} }

=> \texttt{ 7.7\:= \:r^{2} }

=> \texttt{\sqrt {7.7}\:= \:r }

=> \boxed{r\:= \:2.77\: cm}

♠️ Radius of rod is 2.77 cm

Length of metal rod = 140 cm (Height of the cylindrical rod)

Let the radius of the cylindrical rod be r

We know that when we transform a solid into another solid volume remains same. Here Cylindrical rod is made by sphere, in which case

Volume of Cylindrical Rod = Volume of Sphere

Here Volume of the Sphere given 3388 cm³

\pi r^2 h = 3388 cm^3

(22/7) × r² × 140 cm = 3388

r² = 7.7

r = 2.7 cm approx

Hence radius of the solid metal rod is 2.7 cm approx
