sin theta = opposite /hypotenuse=12/13
adjacent=5
sin^2 theta - cos^2 theta = (144-25)/169=119/169
2 sin theta cos theta =2*12/13*5/13=120/169
1/tan^2 theta = cos^2 theta/sin^2 theta=25/144

119*169/169*120*25/144
(119/120)*(25/144)
=595/3456

given,

sinx=12/13=opp.side/hypotenuse

by Pythagoras theroem,

13²=12²+adj.side²

=>13²-12²=adj.side² =169-144=25

=>5²=adj.side²

=>5=adj.side

cosx=5/13

sin²x-cos²x/2sinxcosx * 1/tan²x

=(12/13)²-(5/13)²/2*12/13*5/13 * 1/(12/5)²

=144/169-25/169/2*12*5/169 * 1/144/25

=144-25/169/120/169 * 25/144

=119/120*25/144

=119×25/120×144

=119×5/24×144

=595/3456.
