hence,
3x + 2y = 10.45.................eqn1

Part B)
For 1 notebook she has to buy 3 pen
=> cost of set of 1 notebook and 3 pen = 2.75 + 3 x 1.1 = 6.05
Hence in $22 she can buy

≅ 3 sets of notebook and pens.
