Answer:

Let 1st polynomial be px^3+4x^2-3x+q

2and polynomial be x^2-1

According to question,

1st÷2nd=0

px^3+4x^2-3x+q÷x^2-1 =0

Let x^2-1 =0

x^2 =1

x =√1

x=1

Putting value of 1 in 1st polynomial,

p×1^3+4×1^2-3×1+q=0

That Gives,

q=-p-1

Now replace the value of q with -p-1

p×1^3+4×1^2-3×1-p-1 =0

Therefore

p =0

Now putting value of p in q=-p-1,

q =1

p =0

Step-by-step explanation:

1st polynomial is exactly divisible by 2nd polynomial so first find value of p and then put the value of p in 1st polynomial and then after finding value of q,put it in value of p.
