 \frac{2}{ \sqrt{x} } - \frac{1}{ \sqrt{y} } = \frac{ 2}{3} \\ \frac{5}{ \sqrt{x} } - \frac{1}{ \sqrt{y} } = \frac{13}{6} \\ on \: substracting \: the \: eq \:. \: we \: get \\ \frac{2}{ \sqrt{x} } - \frac{5}{ \sqrt{x} } = \frac{2}{3} - \frac{13}{6} \\ - \frac{3}{ \sqrt{x} } = - \frac{3}{2} \\ \sqrt{x } = 2 \\ x = 4 \\ \frac{5}{ \sqrt{x} } - \frac{1}{ \sqrt{y} } = \frac{13}{6} \\ \frac{5}{2} - \frac{1}{ \sqrt{y} } = \frac{13}{6} \\ \frac{1}{ \sqrt{y} } = \frac{5}{2} - \frac{13}{6} = \frac{1}{3} \\ \sqrt{y} = 3 \\ y = 9
