Answer:
Metals:
Metals are usually Metals:
- Metals are usually good conductors of heat and electricity.
- They are hard, opaque, shiny, lustrous and malleable and ductile.
- Metals usually form ionic bonds.
None-Metals:
Non-metals are usually good insulators of heat and electricity.
- They are usually brittle and have dull appearence.
- None-metals usually form covalent compounds..

Metal Physical Properties:
- Lustrous (shiny)
- Good conductors of heat and electricity.
- High melting point.
- High density (heavy for their size)
- Malleable (can be hammered)
- Ductile (can be drawn into wires)
- Usually solid at room temperature (anexception is mercury)
- Opaque as a thin sheet (can't see through metals)
Non-Metal Physical Properties:
- May be solid, liquid or gas at room temperature.
- Has lower melting point than metals.
- Has lower boiling point than metals.
- Non-lustrous - dull, not shiny.
- Poor conductors of heat.
- Poor conductors of electricity.
- Brittle - break when stretched.
- Low tensile strength - easily broken.
