Here is your answer ---

Given,
(x^6 - y^6)

By the exponents' law, we get that ---

a^m - b^m = (a-b)^m
x^6 - y^6 = (x-y)^6

It can also be written as :
{(x-y)^2}^3 = (x-y)^2×3 = (x-y)^6 = x^6-y^6
