a = 9x² -7xy+2y²

b = 3y²+2xy -x²

c = -5y²+5xy-8x²

To show that:

a+b+c = 0

Solution:

by putting values

(9x² -7xy +2y²)+(3y²+2xy -x²)+(-5y²+5xy-8x²)

= 9x² -7xy+2y²+3y²+2xy -x²+-5y²+5xy-8x²

= (9x²-x²-8x²)+(-7xy+2xy+5xy)+(2y²-5y²+3y²)

= (9x²-9x2)+(-7xy+7xy)+(5y²-5y²)

= 0

hence proved a+b+c = 0.
