Answer:

cloth bought by rama=18\frac{1}{2}=37/2

cost of cloth bought by rama=245\frac{1}{8}=1961/8

now ,cost of cloth per m=\frac{\frac{1961}{8} }{\frac{37}{2} }=13\frac{1}{4}

cloth bought by sanju=26\frac{1}{2}=53/2

cost of cloth bought by sanju=53/2*52/4=2756/8=344\frac{1}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

if cost of (18×2+1)÷2 meter cloth is (245×8+1)÷8

then cost of 1 m cloth ={(248×8+1)÷8}÷{(18×2+1)÷2}

={1961÷8}÷{37÷2}

= 1961/8×2/37

= rs.13.25

now,

cost of (26×2+1)÷8 m cloth =(26×2+1)÷8×13.25

=53÷8×13.25

= rs. 89.43

god10ronaldosucks: In calculating the length of cloth sanju bought you mistakingly took the denominator as 8 instead it should be 2
