Chilika lake:

• It is a brackish water lagoon, spread over the Puri, Khurda, and Ganjam districts of Odisha state on the east coast of India.

• It is Asia's largest salted water lake.

• The river mouth has an island - on one side there is a lake and on another side the ocean.
