x - y \div ( \sqrt{ {x }^{2} -  {y}^{2}  }

 {x}^{2}  -  {y}^{2}  = (x + y)(x - y)

so

 \sqrt{ {x}^{2} -  {y}^{2}   }  =  \sqrt{(x + y)(x - y)}

so ans will be

 \sqrt{x - y}   \div  \sqrt{x + y}
