This will leave us with $1010000 = 101x$

Lastly, we divide each side by 101 to isolate the x.

This gives us $x = 10000$ which is the answer

(ii) By following the same process, we end up with the equation $\frac{105}{2940} = \frac{100}{x}$

By cross multiplying, we end up with $105x = 294000$

Lastly, we divide each side by 105 to isolate the x which gives us $x = 2800$ as the answer

(iii) We again set up the equation the same way which gives us $\frac{114.5}{229} = \frac{100}{x}$
