yes because

2*m^2=5*m
m^2/m=5/2
so the ans is m=5/2
it is the root of the given ques

Hope you like my process
=======================
Process (1)
==========
=> 2m² - 5m = 0

=> m(2m -5) = 0

So ,

either : m = 0

or : 2m - 5 = 0

=> m = 5/2

Process (2)
==========
=> 2m² - 5m = 0

=> 2m² = 5m

Dividing both sides by 2m
----------------------------------------
=> m = 5/2

Process (3)
==========
We know , Sreedhar acharya's Formula
-----------------------------------------------------------
  \bf \:  \: for  \: \: quadratic  \: \: equation \:  \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \bf \blue{a {x}^{2}  + bx + c = 0}\\  \\ =  > x =   \: \frac{ - b  +  -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  - 4ac} }{2a}  \\  \\ if \:  \:  \: c = 0.... \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - b +  - b}{2a}  =  \bf \: 0 \:  \:  \: or \:  \:  -  \frac{b}{a}

Thus ..here c=0

so ..

either
 =  >  \bf \: m =  -  \frac{ - 5}{2}  =  \frac{5}{2}
or

=> m=0

________________________
THUS , 5/2 and 0 are the roots of the equation

=> 2m²-5m=0
