x = z = 35° (Vertically opposite angles)
z = 35°

x + y = 180 (Linear pair)
y = 180-35
y = 145°

y = r = 145° (Vertically opposite angles)
r = 145°

So,
3x - 20 + 2x + 30 = 180
5x + 10 = 180
5x = 170
