So here let's first arrive to an integer just before 7 which is multiples of the cup.
Multiplying 1(1/4) by 4 would give us:
=4*1(1/4)
=4*1+4*(1/4)
=5
Hence we have arrived at 5 cups of required quantity. Now pouring each cup would add 1(1/4) Cups of Water.
Let's do this.
So after pouring 4 measuring cups we have cups of water.
Adding next measuring cup (5th time) :
=5+1(1/4)
=5*(1)+5(1/4)
=5+5/4
=25/4
Adding next cup (6th time) :
=25/4+ 1(1/4)
