Answer:

read below:

Step-by-step explanation:

1/tana -(( 1-tan²a)/2tana)

= 1/tana +(( tan²a-1)/2tana)

take lcm

(2+ tan²a -1) /2tan a

=(tan²a+1)/2tan a

now separate as fractions

=(tan²a/2tan a) + (1/2tan a)

=(tan a)/2 +1/(2 tan a)

=(sin a/2cos a) +(cos a /2 sin a)

take lcm and add

(sin²a+cos²a)/ (2sin a cos a)

since sin² + cos²=1, and 2sin a cos a= sin 2a

the expression becomes 1/(sin 2a) that is cosec2a

thanks for that question! it made me think!

hope that solution helps!
