Radius of curavature, R = 1.2 m
Focal length, f = R/2 = -0.6 m(f is negative for concave mirror)
u = -40 Cm = -0.4 m
u is negative because person is standing in front of mirror so left
Person is standing between Focal length and Pole of the mirror
Therefore virtual and erect Image is formed
1/f = 1/u + 1/v
1/v = 1/f -1/u = -1/0.6 +1/0.4
=(-0.4+0.6)/0.6*0.4
= 0.2/0.24= 20/24 = 5/6
so v = 6/5 = 1.2 m behind the mirror
